Wherein I Keep a Promise
I know I owe you all a Fenway trip report, and I swear that's coming, but I need to clear up an earlier commitment. Forthwith then, Norwegian Wood. A few clunkers in the first verse, but hopefully you can forgive those. Hope you enjoy it.
You're pretty darn good, Gary. I wish I could play the guitar. The only videos on Youtube that feature me in any capacity are of me accompanying other people singing while I play piano and multiple videos of my show choirs performing.
I don't know why but I always imagined you with a deep baritone, but you're a tenor like me! (Tenors rule by the way.)
Gary, i understand u live in RI. isnt it true RI has no real casinos, only slot parlors with lots of VBJ machines, but the machines there suck because the min and max bets are much higher, making it hard to not risk too much? theres no poker in RI correct?
Tony, Rhode Island has two slot parlors, Twin Rivers and Newport Grand. I don't know anything about bet limits but I do know that the VBJ machines aren't really considered true "video blackjack;" rather the machines are Class II devices, more commonly known as VLT's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_Lottery_Terminal, whereby the outcome is predetermined by a random number generator.
And yes, there are no hotel rooms, few comps, and most devastatingly, no poker, which is a pity as one of the facilities is about ten minutes away from where I live.
Whoa -- great job, Gary!
ReplyDeletethanks man - I'd have held out for a better vocal but I got a little sick and tired of it...

Ha - the piano player wants to play guitar, the guitar player wants to play piano, world keeps on spinnin'.
ReplyDeleteNo disrespect to anyone else, but praise from a musician is high praise indeed.
Free Bird!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm own sang a sowng that AHH wants to hear...
DeleteSomeone was going to say it, glad it was me! I went to see a Molotov concert and someone requested Free Bird. LOL!
DeleteThat was wonderful
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you, Carmel. It's no Freebird. though ;)
DeleteLike! Skip and I listened and liked very much! Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteNow, you guys are just being nice. How oddly out of character...
DeleteYou're uglier in video than you are in picture form.
ReplyDeleteWhatever Josie's camera/cell phone does - stick to that!
Fair enough. Oh, Grrouchie? You're a big DOODY HEAD.
DeleteWhat makes me less ugly in Josie's pictures? I'm gonna go with, Josie and her skin-tight shirt making the most of her meager chest.
I'll level with you Gary, Grrouchie is just jealous of your hair. He is hair challenged. He wants you long locks. Face ones to!
Delete"making the most of her meager chest."
ReplyDeleteUt oh -- ribs are gonna be broken again.

Stay away, is my advice. Hope this helps.
