I'd go...

Hey - random concert promoter - here's an idea:

Paul McCartney on vocals bass piano and acoustic guitar
Julian Lennon on vocals and keys
Dhani Harrison on guitar and vocals
Zak Starkey on Drums

The name of this band? The Weetles.

I want 1/2 of 1% of the net. You're welcome.

  1. I always thought it would be better to stick Paul and Ringo with Daltrey and Townshend as the Wheatles for a set and see which 1/2 of a band could botch up the other's songs worse...

  2. I doubt that would ever happen.

Townshend: "this afternoon, John [Entwhistle] and I were listening to a stereo LP of The Beatles, in which the voices come out of the one side and the backing track came out of the other. And when you actually hear the backing tracks of The Beatles without their voices, they're flippin' lousy."

So, passage of time and all, but I don't think they really liked each other.

  3. Yessss -- the good old stereo albums where the singing tracks would be isolated from the music. The early version of karoke for some people. Try the Yesterday and Today album.
